This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which Tecbuild Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides refunds for our roofing and insulation services.
By engaging our services, you agree to the terms set out below.
2. Nature of Services
Tecbuild Limited provides bespoke roofing and insulation services, which often involve:
- Site-specific assessments
- Custom materials
- Labour and installation work
Due to the nature of these services, refund eligibility may vary depending on the stage of the project.
3. Deposits
- Deposits are typically required to secure your booking and cover initial costs such as materials and scheduling.
- Deposits are non-refundable once:
- Materials have been ordered, or
- Work has been scheduled and confirmed
Exceptions may be considered at our discretion.
4. Cancellation by the Customer
If you wish to cancel services:
Before Work Commences
- You may be eligible for a partial refund, excluding:
- Administrative costs
- Costs of materials already purchased
After Work Has Begun
- Refunds will not normally be provided
- You may be charged for:
- Work already completed
- Materials supplied
- Labour and associated costs
5. Cancellation by Tecbuild Limited
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule work due to:
- Unsafe working conditions
- Severe weather
- Unforeseen circumstances beyond our control
In such cases:
- You will be offered a rescheduled date, or
- A full or partial refund, depending on work completed
6. Faulty or Unsatisfactory Work
If you believe work has not been completed to a satisfactory standard:
- You must notify us within 14 days of completion
- We will:
- Inspect the issue
- Offer to rectify the problem where appropriate
Refunds will only be considered if:
- We are unable to resolve the issue, or
- A resolution cannot be agreed
7. Materials
- We are not responsible for faults in third-party materials where covered by manufacturer warranties
- Any claims relating to defective materials may need to be directed to the manufacturer
We will assist where reasonably possible.
8. Refund Process
Where a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be processed within 7–14 working days
- Payments will be returned using the original payment method where possible
9. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be provided in cases including:
- Change of mind after work has commenced
- Delays caused by the customer
- Issues arising from pre-existing structural problems not identified during initial assessment
- Failure to provide access to the property as agreed
10. Your Statutory Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
